Brief Itinerary:
Day 1: Hanoi – Hanoi evening tour (D)
Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B,L,D)
Day 3: Halong bay – Hanoi (B,L) – night train to Sapa
Day 4: Laocai – Cat Cat – Sin Chai – Sapa (B,L,D)
Day 5: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Laochai – Tavan – Sapa – Laocai (B,L,D) – night train to Hanoi.
Day 6: Hanoi – free time until transfer to the airport or transfer right away to the airport.

Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival– Hanoi evening tour(meals: D)
Arrive in Hanoi airport. VN Discovery Tours' driver will wait and pick you up to our hotel in the center of Hanoi Old Quarter. He will hold the meeting board with your full name, with this signal, he will be easy to pick you up. Take you to our hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, you check in hotel before enjoy Hanoi Evening tour.
After meeting with your guide at your hotel around Hanoi Old Quarter at 4:30 Pm. Enjoy Water Puppet show at 5:15 Pm and then have dinner at 6:30. The rest time, you take a walking tour to see local market, Hanoi Old Quarter (Hanoi night market is for the week-end only). This unique evening tour ends at your hotel around 9:00 PM.

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B,L,D)
08h00 – 08h30: Pick-up at hotel and start the scenic, 3.5 hour drive to Halong Bay.  Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta country side and have a short break on the way.
12h00 – 12h30: Embark on Cruise followed by a short cruise briefing
13h00 – 15h30: Savor a delectable lunch as V’Spirit Classic Cruises among the limestone islands…
15h30 – 16h30: Kayak among the hidden areas of the bay, around the  Luon Cave area.
16h30:Back to the Cruise
16h30 – 17h30: Cruise to Soi Sim island. Go swimming and relaxing at the beach of Soi Sim or climp up to the top of the island for a panorama view of Halong Bay
17h30: Return to the main boat for a shower. Relax or snap photos as the sun starts to set
19h00:Dinner is served. Socialize with other guests, fish for squid, or just laze around Overnight on board.
  

Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B,L)
06h30 – 07h00: Start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt
07h30 – 08h30:Have breakfast at sunrise.
08h30 – 09h30: Explore the amazing Sung Sot Cave – the nicest cave in Halong Bay.
09h30: Return to the boat. Freshen up and check out of your cabin.
09h30 – 10h30: Continue your cruise exploring the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet and more…
10h30 – 11h30:While heading back to the habor, watch the cooking demonstration before enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch.
12h00: Disembark Cruise
12h30:Transfer back to your hotel in Hanoi city center.
16h30 – 17h00: Arrive in Hanoi.
Tour guide takes you to our hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.  You have time to take a shower at our hotel before our guide comes and picks you up to Hanoi train station. Overnight on the train.
8:30 pm - 9:00 pm – Mini bus picks up from hotel and transfer to Tran Quy Cap train station.
10:00 pm- Train departs and overnight on the train.

Day 4: Laocai - Sapa – Cat Cat – Sapa (B,L,D)
5:00am: Pick up at Lao Cai train station to Sa Pa by minibus. Arrive in Sa Pa in the mid-morning, then have breakfast, take a showercand relax atthe hotellobby.
We start a walk down to the South-west of Sapa (around 4km) to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong. Relax at the food of the stunning waterfall and the vestiga of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Enjoy picnic lunch by the side of the river and then next 6km to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes before climbing up on the way a car to return to Sapa. Check in hotel and free time to discover the Sapa town in the evening before having dinner at our restaurant.

Day 5: Explore 3 Minority Villages (B,L,D)- Night train to Hanoi
Leaving your hotel after Breakfast, you will walk along the main road heading south for about an hour before turning right to a foot path down hill to Muong Hoa Valley. This part offers spectacular scenery of the highest part of Hoang Lien Son mountain range and in a nice day, Fansipan Peak can be seen. Crossing the river by a suspension bridge you will challenge your feet uphill to Y Linh Ho village. Here you will pay visiting to some H'mong families, watching them doing their daily works. After picnic Lunch, the trail continues up and down hill for about 2 hours as you reach to Lao Chai, a large village of the H'mong. Picnic Lunch and then following the river bank to Ta Van of the Zay people. Paying visiting to local homes, village schools... you will enjoy much your cultural discovery of local ethnic peoples as well as breathtaking scenery of the Muong Hoa Valley. Pick up and transfer back to Sapa in the afternoon, take a shower and then transfer down hill to Lao Cai station for taking the night train to Hanoi.

Day 6: Hanoi – departure.
You arrive in Hanoi in the early morning around 5:30 AM, our guide will pick you up and transfer you to the airport for your flight home. Or if you have the later flight, so please contact us, we will arrange a place for your rest.
