The Department of Performing Arts has held a press briefing on it’s upcoming activities of 2015.
 
 Accordingly, the department was assigned to organize art performances to celebrate great national festivals in 2015.
 
On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the southern liberation and national unification (April 30th), the department will organize a special art performance on the night of April 28th in the Central province of Quang Tri.
 
On the occasion of the 125th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth, the department will organize an art performance to open the Sen Village festival and cultural day of ethnic minority groups in the central region.
 
Two art performances will take place in the center square in northern Hung Yen province and Hung Yen provincial Cultural Center on June 29th and 30th to mark the 100th anniversary of late Party General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh’s birth (July 1st).
 
The Department will also preside over the organization of art performances to mark the 70th anniversary of National Independence Day (September 2nd) and the 250th anniversary of great poet Nguyen Du’s birth (November 25th).
 
In 2015, the department will also announce literature and art works on revolutionary war, build plans for art performances to mark the 12th National Party Congress, organize contest on professional arts and Viet Nam-Lao-Cambodia Young Circus contest, a Water Puppetry festival and ASEAN traditional music festival with Vietnamese traditional music festival./.
