Da Nang: Tourist arrivals expected to increase during Christmas and New Year holidays
 
According to the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the city is expected to welcome 105,503 visitors during the forthcoming Christmas and New Year holidays, up 32% compared with the same period last year.
 
Of this figure, the number of foreigners is likely to rise by 30.1% to an estimate of 59,808, whilst domestic visitors are predicted to climb by 34.4% to an estimated 45,695.  Meanwhile, the volume of visitors who stay overnight in the city is expected to hit an estimated 36,588, up 36.7% against the same period in 2013.  
 
An estimated 17,013 of them are foreigners, a 44% increase, whilst the remainder are domestic visitors, a 31% increase.
