Vietnamese Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh met with President Tony Tan Keng Yam and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong of Singapore on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of SEA Games on June 5.  
 
 
Apart from attending the opening ceremony, the Vietnamese delegation successfully organised a tourist promotion programme in Singapore.
 
PM Lee said Singapore wants to enhance cooperation with Viet Nam in culture, sports and tourism in line with the two countries’ strategic partnership.
 
Lee said Viet Nam’s tourism is growing rapidly with great potential. He said he is impressed by Viet Nam’s Son Doong cave, the biggest cave in the world, adding that he wants to explore it if he visits Viet Nam.
 
Minister Tuan Anh invited the Singaporean PM to visit Son Doong Cave and other popular destinations during his next Viet Nam visit.
 
Also on the sidelines of the SEA Games opening ceremony, the Vietnamese Minister met with Lao Minister of Education and Sports Phankham Viphavanh and Singaporean Minister of Sports and Youth Lawrence Wong./.
