Culture – Tourism Festival to close National Tourism Year 2014 of Central Highlands – Da Lat
 
 
(TITC) - National Tourism Year 2014 of Central Highlands - Da Lat with the theme “High mountains and thick forests of Central Highlands” is coming to end. With 45 main activities and many responding activities in other provinces in Central Highlands, National Tourism Year 2014 has achieved remarkable results, marking the tourism development of Lam Dong Province and also Central Highlands.

Culture – Tourism Festival to close National Tourism Year 2014 of Central Highlands - Da Lat (referred to as Culture - Tourism Festival) is the last event to end series of activities throughout 2014 in Lam Dong and Central Highlands’ provinces.
 
Culture – Tourism Festival with the theme “Da Lat - winter colors” will take place from 23rd to 27th December 2014 in Da Lat City (Lam Dong Province). This event aims to promote Da Lat tourism image with characteristics of natural landscape, climate and famous specialties to attract visitors; and expand tourism development cooperation in the region. This is also the opportunity for Lam Dong and Central Highlands’ provinces to develop tourism, upgrade infrastructure, improve community awareness, attract investment, promote tourism to become ideal destinations for international and domestic tourists.
 
In the framework of the festival, 14 excellent activities will be organized, including the flower space “Da Lat – four flower seasons”; Da Lat flower exhibition with the theme  “Flower colors in cold land”; market of Da Lat vegetable and flower; art garden “Winter paradise”; Japanese culture days in Da Lat; “Da Lat without streets” picnic tour; “Flower tourism” tour; honor and award ceremony of “Golden Spoon – 2014” cuisine contest; Da Lat tourism – handicraft villages fair 2014; Highlands tea night; festival of city’s youth; international conference “Da Lat – Central Highlands tourism – Integration and Development”; introduction of brocade weaving art and performance of Central Highlands’ costume; “Highlands Love” art program.
 
To prepare for the festival, the organization board of National Tourism Year 2014 requires related units to boost promotion of this event on mass media. Besides, the organization board also focuses on mobilizing many tourism sites to take part in the event; linking travel agencies which offer special promotion for visitor during the event.
