Viet Nam, Greece promote tourism cooperation
 
 
Vietnamese Ambassador to Greece Tran Thi Ha Phuong has recently worked with Ms Elena Koutoura, Greek Minister of Tourism to promote tourism cooperation between the two nations.

Over the past time, travel agents and tourist companies from the two countries have organised working delegations to study the tourism market and promote cooperation between the countries and successfully held conferences to establish policy and future working practices. Each country has secured the support of both the telecommunications and television companies to broadcast information and programs introducing and promoting tourism in both locations.
 
During the meeting with the Greek Tourism Minister, Ambassador Phuong confirmed that the Embassy would give enthusiastic support for promoting tourism cooperation between the two countries.
 
The Vietnamese Ambassador also invited the Greek Tourism Minister to join the Embassy’s activities marking the 40th anniversary of Vietnamese and Greek diplomatic ties to be held in September, and invited her to visit Viet Nam in the near future.
 
Minister Elena Koutoura praised the results in cooperation of tourism between the two countries, affirming that Greece would be willing to create favourable conditions for organizations and individuals to increase tourism cooperation.
 
She noted that tourism sector was the strength of both countries; therefore, adequate attention should be paid to the potential. At first, the two sides would re-check the framework agreement on tourism cooperation and realise the contents of the agreement by specific activities.
 
She said she planned to visit Viet Nam to boost tourism cooperation to the next stage of development./.
