(TITC) - The Mekong Delta Trade and Tourism Fair from June 27 - July 03 in Can Tho City is one of the main activities in the framework of Mekong Delta Green Tourism Week 2015.
 
 
Speaking at the opening ceremony of Mekong Delta Trade and Tourism Fair, Mr. Le Van Tam - Permanent Vice Chairman of People's Committee of Can Tho City said Mekong Delta Trade and Tourism Fair 2015 plays the role as a bridge connecting businesses and customers and facilitates businesses’ promotion of image, products, market development.
 
The Mekong Delta Trade and Tourism Fair 2015 attracted 1,030 booths of ministries, 13 provinces/cities in the Mekong Delta, Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, tourist hubs and businesses in Viet Nam and the GMS countries.
 
Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism’s booth, which introduces brochures, publications that promote Viet Nam’s image and tourism products, attracted a great number of visitors.
 
Mekong Delta Green Tourism Week 2015 includes various activities as Mekong Delta Volleyball Tournament 2015 (June 26-29); Cooking Contest “Plain Flavor” (June 27 - July 03); Street Festival (June 27 - July 03); workshops on Linking for development of Mekong Delta’s green tourism (June 29), on Promoting investment in Mekong Delta’s green tourism (June 30) and on Application of Green Lotus sustainable tourism Label to tourism accommodation facilities in Viet Nam (July 1); "Colors of the South" Night (July 1).
