Brief Itinerary:
Day 1: Hanoi free time discovering Hanoi  (0)– Night train to Sapa
Day 2: Laocai – Sapa – Cat Cat – Sin Chai – Sapa (B,L,D)
Day 3: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Tavan – Sapa - Laocai– Night to Hanoi (B,L,D)
Day 4: Hanoi – Halong bay - Hanoi (B,L)
Day 5: Hanoi departure (B)

Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival(meals: no)
Arrive in Hanoi. VN Discovery Tours' driver will wait and pick you up to our hotel in the center of Hanoi Old Quarter. He will hold the meeting board with your full name, with this signal, he will be easy to pick you up.
He takes you to ourhotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.  You have time to take a shower at our hotel bathroom before our guide come and pick you up to Hanoi train station. Overnight on the train.
8:30 pm– Mini bus picks up from hotel and transfer to Tran Quy Cap train station.
10:00 pm- Train departs and overnight on the train.

Day 2: Laocai - Sapa – Cat Cat – Sin Chai (meals: B,L,D)
6:30am: Pick up at Lao Cai train station to Sa Pa by minibus. Arrive in Sa Pa in the mid-morning, then have breakfast, take a showercand relax atthe hotellobby.
We start a walk down to the South-west of Sapa (around 4km) to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong. Relax at the food of the stunning waterfall and the vestiga of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Enjoy picnic lunch by the side of the river and then next 6km to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes before climbing up on the way a car to return to Sapa. Check in hotel and free time to discover the Sapa town in the evening before having dinner at our restaurant.

Day 3: Explore 3 Minority Villages (meals: B,L,D)- Night train to Hanoi
Leaving your hotel after Breakfast, you will walk along the main road heading south for about an hour before turning right to a foot path down hill to Muong Hoa Valley. This part offers spectacular scenery of the highest part of Hoang Lien Son mountain range and in a nice day, Fansipan Peak can be seen. Crossing the river by a suspension bridge you will challenge your feet uphill to Y Linh Ho village. Here you will pay visiting to some H'mong families, watching them doing their daily works. After picnic Lunch, the trail continues up and down hill for about 2 hours as you reach to Lao Chai, a large village of the H'mong. Picnic Lunch and then following the river bank to Ta Van of the Zay people. Paying visiting to local homes, village schools... you will enjoy much your cultural discovery of local ethnic peoples as well as breathtaking scenery of the Muong Hoa Valley. Pick up and transfer back to Sapa in the afternoon, take a shower and then transfer down hill to Lao Cai station for taking the night train to Hanoi.

Day 4: Hanoi – Halong Bay (meals: B,L)
You arrive in Hanoi in the early morning around 5:30 AM, our guide will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel, you will have breakfast & take a shower at your hotel bathroom if you need before enjoying Halong bay tour.

  

Day 5: Hanoi - Departure (meals: B)
After breakfast at hotel. Freetimeuntil transfer you to the airport for your flight home. Trips end.
