Overview

Night 1: Ha Noi – Lao Cai by night train
8:00 Pm – Mini bus pick up from hotel and transfer to Tran Quy Cap train station
9:05 Pm, train departs for SP1 and 10:00 PM for SP3.

Day 1: Lao Cai – Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Topas Ecolodge (13 km trekking, 5-6 hour trekking) (B, L, D)
5:30 a.m arrive in Laocai. Our tour guide and driver will pick you up, you will have breakfast before you are transferred to Sapa town. Have breakfast and take a shower before enjoying Sapa tour.
We will commence the excursion today with a walk through the town of Sapa and along a dirt trail through vegetable gardens and rice paddy terraces. The spectacular scenery of Muong Hoa valley gradually appears within your eyesight.
We will then reach the river running at the bottom of the valley and continue the walk on the bank ot the river. We eventually arrive in Lao Chai village of Black Hmong minority, where you will take a rest and have lunch at a nice spot. After lunch we walk from Lao Chai to Giang Ta Chai through Ta Van of Dzay and Red Dzao tribes is almost on the hillsides. The view of the valley is more and more extending and stretching to the horizon. We take a stop at Tavan village to visit a local house, before following the trail through bamboo forest to go to Giang Ta Chai village where you can swim in the summer time. From Giang Ta Chai we will take a transfer to Topas Ecolodge. Check in and enjoy the beautiful landscapes here. You will have a panorama view to valley.

Day 2: Topas Ecolodge – Hiking to Lech Dzao Village – Sapa – Lao Cai (8km trekking, 3-4 hour trekking) (B, L, D)
Breakfast at hotel.
9:30: You will start your half day hike to visit the Lech village of Red Dao minority. We will follow the road for a while before descending towards a river. Going through rice paddy terraces gives you many opportunities to enjoy the magnificent valley view. We cross the river by a bridge made of stone and then follow a trail going up to the village. You will be able to spend some time at the village to experience daily life. And learn how to the women in their doorways doing their embroidery.
From the village, you head back to the lodge. It is your choice when to take the scheduled shuttle bus to Sapa town during the day.
17h30: Transfer you from Sapa to Lao Cai for the night train back to Hanoi

Day 3: Hanoi arrival
You will arrive in Hanoi around 05.00 am. Tour finishes. You will take a taxi to your hotel on your own.
