Photo contest launched for national tourism year 2015
 
Thanh Hoa Newspaper, in association with the Thanh Hoa Literature and Art Association, has launched a photo contest on "National Tourism Year Thanh Hoa - 2015".
 
Works submitted must highlight the theme of the National Tourism Year 2015 and related events in Thanh Hoa; reflect the beauty of world heritage sites in Vietnam and in the province.
 
Entries must be newly-composed work never previously published in any form. Each author may send one or more pieces of work. Each photograph must be submitted together with the images stored on CD or DVD, file with the smallest dimensions 30cm, 300dpi (Dots Per Inch). The entries are single images, color or black and white printed on photo paper.
 
Entries will be divided into three main categories: 2015 National Tourism Year – Thanh Hoa and its events; the land and people of Thanh Hoa province and the Citadel of the Ho Dynasty World Heritage site.
 
Participants can be professional or amateur photographers from anywhere around the country. The organising board plans to present one special prize, one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes and 10 consolation prizes for the authors with the excellent works.
 
The organising board will receive the entries from March 20th to October 30th. /.
